Story

Our lovely Mummy was diagnosed with late stage Cancer in April 2018.  Such heart breaking news didn't stop Mum from enjoying every single minute of her life.  This is with thanks to the Palliative Care team at Sue Ryder who made mum feel safe, comfortable and able to live life to the fullest.  The support for Mum and our family has been invaluable and it was Mums wishes to make sure we support this charity in her legacy.  It costs £9,000 a day to run the Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed and we know Mum would have wanted to pay for her stay, so we will aim to achieve this!

Chris, Jonny and I are so grateful for any donations made to this wonderful charity which we now hold very dear to our hearts.  Keep an eye out for us doing some crazy challenges in the near future to help support Sue Ryder and other families like ours in such difficult times.

In the words of Mummy Wood "We will not cry, we will just have fun"!

With so much thanks and love,

Chris, Jonny and Gems xxx

"Tou de Lou" Tomorrow, 7th September, we will be setting off on a very special bike ride in memory of Mum which we have named "Tou de Lou". On what would have been her birthday weekend, we will be riding from Blackburn to Benson, a whopping 350km over 3 days visiting key landmarks of Mums life. There will be some gruelling climbs, terrential rain, and most likely lots of emotions to contend with. If you would like to support us, please make a donation to Mums charity, Sue Ryder , who continue to be an amazing support to our family xx
